The FIRE movement, or Financially Independent Retire Early, is the simple idea that you, yes you, can become the author of your own destiny and no longer depend on your job.

This isn’t a sales pitch. In fact, I want as little to do with your journey to independence as possible. No, this is completely up to you but the reality is, there are hundreds of thousands of people slowly becoming millionares and no one seems to care to find out just how they’re doing it.

The idea is fairly simple. Simple, not easy. It’s not easy because the work is all on you. You need to budget, live within your means and put your savings in a place where it will actually grow. See, simple pimple…

Anyway, plenty of people far more dedicated than me have written about these concepts so I’ll let them do the talking. What I can say for sure though, is that myself, my friends, and many people around the world are making their way to becomming millionare retirees and we can all attest to how simple it actually is.
